The Newo Love Story – Innovation, passion & growth since 1994
The success story of Newo begins in 1994 in Schalchen – founded by Wolfgang Neumeyer with just one employee. From the very beginning, it was clear: With high-quality roller shutters and lintel boxes, we wanted not only to build products, but to create living comfort.
As early as 1995, we started collaborating with dealers – a milestone for our regional presence. Just a year later, in 1996, the first installation team set out: On-site service became the foundation of our customer success.
In 1999, we expanded our range with insect protection systems. This created reliable, chemical-free solutions for everyday life.
A crucial step followed in 2004, when we moved to Munderfing and had eleven dedicated colleagues on the team. In 2008, the first extension was added – a clear sign of continuous growth.
2010 was a year that expanded our range: We added external venetian blinds to our program. This allowed us to offer our customers even more comfort, design, and efficiency.
In 2013, we reached a technological peak: the development of the patented i80 slat. This changed how light and shadow are controlled – even from afar.
Another major milestone was marked in 2014: The second extension in Munderfing, the presentation of the i80 slat, and the involvement of Michael Frauscher as a second managing director – with a proud 30 employees.
Today – in the year 2025 – we are an established company with around 80 employees and five apprentices who love what they do. Our passion: customized sun protection solutions that save energy, preserve privacy, and enable long-lasting living comfort.
